CTReports™ was designed incorporating the strengths of SAS, S-Plus and R. First we use SAS to preprocess the data. Then CTReports takes over, first utilizing SAS to conduct all of the data analysis and generate tables and listing. SAS then outputs summaries of all of the analyses into a dataset for S-Plus or R to use to generate the graphics. This gives us the flexibility to completely customize graphics in an automated fashion. Finally once all of the graphics, tables and listings are generated, Visual Basic scripting ties all the piecies together in one concise document.
